About

Mission

My mission is to help people reconnect with their own capacity to heal. Through a steady and compassionate therapeutic space, I work with individuals to understand the experiences they have been carrying and support them as they move toward strength, clarity, and healing.

Background & Experience

Therapy

I earned my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, where I studied Criminology with a minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University (NNU), with an expected completion in August 2026.

U.S. Airforce

I served eight years in the United States Air Force as a member of Security Forces, deploying twice overseas, including a combat deployment to Kenya and another to Saudi Arabia. During my service, I worked in high-pressure environments responsible for protecting personnel and installations. These experiences shaped my understanding of stress, responsibility, and the lasting impact demanding roles can have, and they continue to influence the way I work with veterans, first responders, and others who have carried a great deal for a long time.

Investigations

I spent six years working in criminal investigations, focusing primarily on crimes involving children and sexual offenses. This work required careful attention to detail, compassion for victims, and the ability to navigate extremely difficult situations. Through these experiences, I gained a deep understanding of trauma and the profound impact it can have on individuals and families, which ultimately played a role in my decision to pursue a career in counseling.

Payment

At this time, I do not accept insurance. While I complete my graduate training, sessions are offered at a reduced rate of $35 per session.
